Brian Edwards has been with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama since 1998, and he currently serves as the Senior Vice President, Health Services. The Health Services Division is responsible for developing programs and provider networks that meet the health and wellness needs of our customers with a focus on quality and affordability.  Prior to joining Health Services, he served as the Vice President, Controller.

Mr. Edwards is a graduate of Leadership Birmingham and Leadership Hoover. He currently serves on the Prosper Birmingham Core Team, the United Way of Central Alabama Finance Committee, the Risk Management and Insurance Advisory Board of Samford University’s Brock School of Business, the Executive Leadership Team for the Heart Walk of Birmingham, the American Cancer Society Central Alabama Board of Directors and the Friends of WBHM Advisory Board. He received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Samford University.
