Noel Carden is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama. Carden is responsible for the planning, implementation, and managing of all financial activities for the Company. Carden began his career at Blue Cross in 1990 as a Junior Programmer. He moved to the Actuarial Department in 1996 where he served as Vice President and Chief Actuary. Carden is a graduate of the University of Alabama where he majored in mathematics. 

Carden obtained his Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries in 2007 and has been a member of the American Academy of Actuaries since 2002.
