Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama’s Blue Advantage Plan Receives Distinguished 4.5 Star Rating

Birmingham, AL – Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama's Blue Advantage Plan received a 4.5 star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

CMS uses a five-star system to measure the quality and experience of Medicare Advantage health and prescription drug plans. The overall rating is based on information from member satisfaction surveys, plan operations and healthcare providers.   Star ratings support CMS’s efforts to put the patient first in all programs.
