More Than 500 Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama Employees Giving Back to the Community with Day of Caring
Birmingham, AL — Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama is giving back to the community by hosting a Day of Caring. On Saturday, August 19, more than 500 employees and their families will work on projects that will make a positive difference in the Birmingham area and across the state. Assembling bicycles, hygiene kits, meal kits, and creating cards for seniors are just a few of the planned hands-on projects. Day of Caring will be held 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the following locations:

- Priority Veterans
- Pathways
- Salvation Army
- Area Agency on Aging
- Boys and Girls Club
- Girls, Inc.
- Ronald McDonald House
- Meals on Wheels
- Community Food Bank
